Ancient Diet For Modern Times

If your like most people you have tried to lose those "extra few pounds" from time to time, only to find over the course of the year that you have gained a few more extra pounds. Modern man has so many choices when it comes to food, there is food on every street corner. Most of it is fat laden, sugar coated, chemically preserved junk food. When you look at ancient mans diet you see that his diet was vastly different than ours, it consisted of wild or home grown vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, berries and grains with some meat from hunting. And pure water with minerals from the earth.

In my studies to become a certified wellness coach I learned that this ancient diet consists of alkalizing foods that keep the body's ph in balance. This should be very interesting to us, modern man, because the side effect of a ph balanced body is the elimination of cellular waste (FAT) . So by eating these alkalizing foods you can maintain your body's proper and function, you will be healthy physically and emotionally. In Holistic health we believe that most physical and emotional problems are chemical imbalances cause by eating acidic foods that put our body out of ph balance. I will use myself as an example. In my case i was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. After two years of misery on different drugs and 40 lbs. of gained. I decided to try the Natural or Holistic approach to health.

After switching to a ph balanced diet and supplementing with vitamins and minerals plus exercise, I'm now 40 lbs. lighter and have had no anxiety  attacks for over a year now. I firmly believe in the ph balanced approach to weightloss and emotional health because I know it works.
