About a week ago, I was at the gym. While I was taking a break in between my bench press sets, I overheard a couple of guys talking about the best, and safest ways to lose weight. And when I heard one of them mention something about foods to eat to lose weight, I decided to pay them close attention (without giving myself away as an eavesdropper of course!).
And what I overheard those two talk about proved to be a real eye-opener for me. There is a very important substance you should make sure you take an adequate supply off, especially if you are serious of shedding those pounds. It's called fiber.
Many articles have been published in various news sources recently, praising the effects of fiber. Not only does fiber help with solving certain nasty problems, like constipation, but it has also been to proven to reduce your appetite and ease your hunger pangs. So in other words, if you have a fiber rich diet, you won't feel hungry all the time.
And what this means is that you won't spend time munching on those horrible foods like french fries and other foods which make you gain rather then lose it. Now, let me show you some amazing foods that are have a healthy amount of fiber in it so that you can start losing right away.
Have you heard of brown rice? Well brown rice is basically a nuttier, more crunchy and a lot more nutritious type of rice when compared to white rice. It's true that both types of rice contain just about the same amounts of calories. However, brown rice has more fiber. And it is an excellent substitute for white rice. You can also prepare it as a side dish. Simply put, brown rice is an amazing food to eat to lose weight.
Another great food you should look to include in your diet plan is whole grain bread. This fiber rich food tastes very similar to white bread. In fact, it looks the same as well. The only difference is that it doesn't contain as many sugars as white bread. And this is what makes whole grain a considerably healthier type of bread to eat when compared to other breads, especially white bread. And like brown rice, whole grain bread is a kick ass food to eat to lose as well.
Well, I guess I'm really lucky to have been able to just chance upon such valuable information in the gym the other day. And this does prove that there are a lot of foods to eat to lose out there. Just do remember that foods containing fiber will help you tremendously in losing weight.
