The exercise ball workout is now a very popular way to exercise and strengthen key core muscles such as the abdominals(abs) and the lower back. It can also help with weight loss when used in conjunction with a balanced diet. Also, with an exercise ball workout you get the added benefit of targeting numerous other muscles from just one exercise. The exercise ball workout is a great way to strengthen the lower back. In fact this was the primary reason it was used by physical therapists, since the ball provides support for the lower back when it is used. It also provides great comfort when used as it is a comfortable soft surface and can actually have a massage like feel when being used.
