Good Habits to Lose Weight With Water

Many people already know that water is an important factor for anyone trying to lose weight. It pushes retained fluids from our bodies, dilutes sodium, promotes healing, and satisfies the appetite. Below are some good habits to improve water efficiency for weight loss:

Drink at least 1 cup of water every hour

Drinking 3 liters of water at once is not the same as drinking 3 liters gradually during the day. Also, forcing your body to accept a large amount of water within a short period of time is dangerous. There is no exactly a right amount of water per day. It`s recommended to drink 1 cup of water every hour and at least 2 cups before and after exercises, so your metabolism will keep running at maximum efficiency.

Drink a cup of water 30 minutes before meal

Consuming 1 cup of water 30 minutes before a meal increases the efficiency of your digestive system and helps to satisfy hunger. Don't worry. It won't make your stomach grow. Drinking water during meal may decrease the pH of your stomach, making slower to digest the food.

Avoid gulping the water

It is important to sip and not gulp the water as gulping makes us swallow lots of air. It disturbs stomach function and slows absorption. This also leads to reflux of air back up through the windpipe. And burps are not always pleasant in public.

Drink water before going to bed

Our body uses water to clean the blood and eliminate toxins. The sleep time is when our body most works to recover from damages and eliminate impurities. If you don't drink water before sleeping, it will be like running a marathon without water for the circulatory system. One or two cups will be enough and will not make you pee in the bed.

Drink water when you wake up

You probably will be a long time without drinking water when you wake up. While sleeping, the same water keeps circulating through our body over and over again. It's like washing cloth with dirty water. Usually, the color of the first urine at the morning is dark yellow. It's time to restore and replace your fluids after the long night of marathon.

Cold Water

The normal body temperature is stated to be at 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37.0 degrees Celsius. By drinking enough cold water your body will work to stay warm. That way, it will be burning calories to keep the normal body temperature.

Be aware that only following these habits above will not be enough to get in shape. But it will be a big step!

Low Carb Diet Tips - ...doesn't mean no-carb: you need to differentiate between good and bad carbs. Bad carbs are those found in heavily refined and processed foods, so the less processed foods you buy, the better it is for your health, whether or not you are on a low-carb diet. Processing tends to refine the nutrients out of foods and also there is a tendency for manufacturers to add sugar to their products. Just about the only food that takes well to processing is the tomato as the nutrients are released when the tomato is heated. On the whole this is not true of other foodstuffs. You shouldn't eat commercial popcorn, and read labels carefully for added sodium (salt) and sugars which include pectin and glucose. Too much salt in your diet will mean that you retain water in your...
