Organic gardening is fairly new to a lot of people but the word about it
is spreading as there are many potential benefits to it. Here are 3 benefits that
I can see to the process of organic gardening.
1.
Benefits to the environment :
Organic gardening involves the use of natural organic fertilizers and is a chemical
free process. So the damage to the environment from chemical pesticides
and fertilizers is minimal.
Plants and animals do not respond well to the synthetic chemicals used in today's conventional agricultural methods so using organic fertilizers is very important.
2.
Better quality plants or trees:
Organically produced vegetables or fruits are generally much more rich in
nutrition than the traditional form since the organic fertilizers used are much more rich in nutrients. There are many studies that have shown
that organic gardening and farming methods produce a superior product. Yes, you
may not get as much of the fruits or vegetables but they will be of a higher quality
so you will not need to consume as much.
3.
Benefits to your health
When you use organic gardening methods, you are not exposing yourself to potentially
toxic and deadly pesticides and fertilizer so this is a definite plus for your own personal
health.
Clearly organic gardening is here to stay and in general the organic farming industry is
going to continue to grow as more and more people seek natural food products that are
grown in a chemical free environment.
